Between Angel and Devil ...

Once upon a time ... two short films UFO, between eroticism and enchantment malicious objects of an encounter between two worlds that complement that of Mick Bull, director and photographer, and Melissa Mars, singer and actress. This needs no introduction for some Papa loves me not 2003 or even his duet with Pascal Obispo in 2006 to 1980. Emotional kaleidoscope, this woman-child ingenuous and sexy "devilishly" manufactured his world brick by brick and has very kindly offered an interview you will find on Friday heading to our success Scream Queen of the Week.

But today is for any other reason that concerns us because Belle has just completed her first short film entitled AngelAss first chapter of a tale that tells the delightful story of a bird watching the world of its gilded cage and dreaming of taking flight. But the delicious Titi fears the wolf lurking "out there" and who dreams tirelessly to chew. Who is the angel who is the devil ... the court is in the image of Melissa's strange, magical, or nightmare ... a dreamlike world of poetry, which broke déssaturé color.

- Could it interesting directors like Tim Burton, Terry Gilliam or Ozon, for example?

The dream! I would add though David Lynch, Oliver Stone, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Tarantino, etc. .... The list is as big as my dreams!

- The short film is as a tale, a fable. A genre that suits you best to express yourself?

This story came in the form of a tale ... a fantasy world of children imprisoned in the eyes of women.

- You chose to interpret your own role. There was nobody who could do you think?

I've decided not to interpret a role. I love playing. I play this role since very young. I already tied up ... locked in a room and I struggled to free myself. In this story, my character is locked outside of me, tortured by fears, torn between his desire to remain pure angelic child and his instincts to become a wolf-woman ... and I thought at the edge of forest as a metaphor for the boundary between the two (live) ages.

- AngelAss, Black Cap ... two "opposites" very symptomatic of the two chapters. As the heroine of the short between angel and devil ... It was you who found these two titles?

From Red Riding Hood to hood black, between the angel and the devil is the thread of my story. My first music video "Papa loves me not," I'm already wearing a red dress, I dance enclosed in a white cube. Angela'ss came as a flash, the mixture of two words as opposed to that "angel" and "ass" was slipped into the skin of the double character of an angel and devil.

- What exactly are your cinematic tastes and literary influence you as well?

I'm a big fan of Tarantino's films (a large flat on the latter), both for déjanterie characters and dialogues for their visual aesthetics. Guillermo Del Toro, I admire his talent as a director, but above all a storyteller ... and the first thing that hit me in his films is that magic happens to be created by mixing genres, interweaving historical facts real with the unreal fantasy characters as in "Pan's Labyrinth" or "The Devil's Backbone" ... A genre that inspires such as science fiction in my third album "In search of lost love" I mixed my statements to actual phenomena of a parallel world "1:13", "Horror Movies" ... "1984", "Night Time" are my books cults. I'm also a big addict of Ray Bradbury, Bernard Werber & Philip K. Dick ...

- Who is the wolf by Melissa Mars?

That's me! I am the Wolf Hood who uses all her charms to be devouring the angel in me.

- Your mother, Lilac Klif sign the introductory poem. She was also writing short?

I wrote Chapter 1 "Angela'ss" alone and Chapter 2, with Mick Bulle ... Lilac wrote the poem of the bird that knocks at the bars of its cage for fear of flying ... as Angela ' ss

- "I'm not what you think," says the Chaperon Noir. Like you?

And you, what do you think?

- When was your collaboration with Mick Bulle?

2003. I'll always remember his letter, the first of an initial package of fan mail that was giving me even before the release of my debut album. He said he dreamed and hoped one day to work with me. He had created a webzine Marsien. I had a favorite. We worked on the second magazine, I have worked on the editorial, editorial and artistic direction, he and the entire design and design. In tandem, we made 5 webzines, then my website, then the cover of my 3rd album and now these short ...

- What do you like his work?

Mick is a photographer. I see it as in its compositions graphics in the frame and the light of his films. That's what I like about his work. It emerges immediately in an atmosphere both dark with a touch of freshness and candor.

- How did you share the work?

We've done everything together, exchanged emails with pictures to define colors, moods, frames, cutting ... and once on the set, everyone was master of his movie ... then we found ourselves on the assembly. For the first time I rode on the final cut, all alone! A challenge. My editor Yasmine Ligaud helped me for finishing and effects. For "Black Cap", we first set forward Mick Bulle and me, then ... we felt we rowed ... it lacked a little something ... I have given back to the bull rushes and he worked with his side a friend, Jeremy Lézé to create special effects: the fireflies, little fairy lights metaphor desires of black hood.

- "To be continued" appears at the end. A sequel is planned?

Wolf No. 1, No. 2 Wolf, Wolf N ° 3, Wolf No .... to be continued ... and even if it was ... long ... film ...?

- The trailer on Dailymotion presents different images of the court. Are there other dailies?

We decided to shoot a teaser for the next 2 chapters to create a buzz ... Rather than taking images of movies, we thought to shoot original footage exclusively for the teaser to tell a story without telling the courts .... Were selected and brought together elements of each chapter, and Mick has every shot and edited himself, was taken in rehearsal performing "Mozart L'Opera Rock".

- Would you go into a feature film? As would arise if this were the case? Already ideas?

It's a big job. I would take time and staff to develop my ideas still embryonic. Mick also we would like to make a whole. We would talk ... And even if we worked together for years, it was not all that fond of the same kind of films, it was discovered many commonalities film.
